Spring feels like it is on the doorstep - I walked outside without a sweater today and feeling the wind on my skin was bliss. And with spring comes new possibilities - of weddings - of embracing - of love and sun, light and lightness. Oh, the lightness.

I cannot believe that I hadn't shared a photo from this shoot yet! It was the team of dreams but felt really special because I had wanted to work with @salsabilmorrisonphotography for so long - and when we met at @mostcuriouswedfair last February I surely didn't think that the next time we'd see each other, we'd all be wearing masks and staying 2m apart... but it was still a lovely day, working with a bunch of incredibly talented suppliers, and to see more of this elegant boho and whimsical day, you can head over to @rockmywedding.

I decided to use a clean, white fondant base for this cake as I designed the floral arrangement on it to be very untamed and romantic - to contrast the wildness of nature to an orderly canva. The Asylum was the perfect setting for this contrast as it combines itself grandeur and decay.
