Monochrome pink wedding cakes and desserts – Most Curious Wedding Fair, London 2020

Following my post about the inspiration I used for my stall at A Most Curious Wedding Fair, the wedding cakes and desserts I created for it, I thought I would post some pictures of what the whole set up looked like. Ideal for a modern London wedding, focused on cakes and desserts, the idea of sharing and a sort of grazing table, it was all monochrome pink. The wedding cake stands were acrylic cubes, the desserts were surrounded by pink candles and candlesticks, pink vases and pink flowers, with a pink table runner and the table itself, was pink. Monochrome weddings are very modern and on-trend, perfect for design-led couples.

All the cakes and desserts were vegan, made without single plastic, fit for couples with ethical and eco-friendly weddings.

The trio of wedding cakes was all hand-painted in different shades of pinks and adorned with edible wafer paper flowers. One had an acrylic lift for a modern and unique feel. Painted wedding cakes are modern and bespoke, perfect for city weddings.

The vases, candles and candlesticks were all sourced from charity shops. The desserts mirrored the pink – some of them, like the doughnuts, tarts, sugar cookies, mini bundt cakes were decorated in pink icing.

This whole dessert table, made with wedding cakes and individual desserts, would be a true statement and focal point for anyone’s wedding day.
