This beautiful and romantic two tier cake will bring joy to you and all your guests. With a rustic semi naked look and decorated to match your wedding style, it will be completely unique to you, represent your personality and be a talking point for your wedding.
All cakes are finished with buttercream which can be matched to your colour scheme so the cake will fit perfectly with the rest of your incredible decor.
I strongly believer you and your guests deserve to be able to eat your wedding cake no matter your dietary requirements - including everyone is the best way to feel loved and accepted!

Flowers
Please note that as we source the flowers from our local florist we will have to get from their selection and not all flowers will be available.
If you want your cake to match the rest of your wedding, you can provide your own flowers or your florist can courier them to us - just email us and we will advice on the best way to do that!
Lead in time
Every cake is baked fresh for your order and we therefore need at least a week’s notice to get your order ready. When you click the button to book in please share the date of your event with us and we’ll make sure there’s enough time to bake the cake you want.

Once you’ve ordered your cake, you will receive a tasting box with 3 different flavours from the above menu, of your choosing. We’ll email you to get all the details!
Collection information
We try to be as flexible as possible regarding collection times - we will email you before your date to agree on a pick up time. Your cake can be collected by yourself, a family member, or a friend.
The address to collect from is Unit B Navson House, 41 Ivanhoe Road, Hogwood Estate, Finchampstead, RG40 4QQ.
Please note that we can provide a quote for delivery, but it will be done by a third party and not ourselves.
Dietary requirements
By default, these cakes are vegan and nut free. Please note that they are manufactured in a kitchen that handles nuts and gluten and they do contain soya and gluten.
CONTRACT
By purchasing this cake, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Definitions
1.1 “The Client” is the person (or persons) who have received the quotation (where more than one they are joint and severally liable)
1.2 “The Assignment” is the project of works, goods and services set out in the quotation. Please note that all goods provided as part of the Assignment are VEGAN and we do not provide any alternatives.
1.3 “The Baker” is Sarah Etrog Limited (company number 11203751) whose registered office address is 33 Snowdrop Gardens, Woodley, Reading, United Kingdom, RG5 4FB.
1.4 “The Event” is the event to be supplied by The Baker under the Assignment set out in the quotation.
2. Price and payment
2.1. Price for the Assignment is set out in the price of the product. The Price includes the design and creation, baking and decorating to complete the Assignment. It does NOT include delivery.
2.2. Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
2.3. The Client’s date is not booked until full payment has been made.
3. Size
3.1. The size for 14 dessert portions or 28 finger portions is 5” round, 6” tall and made of four layers of sponge and three layers of signature cream. The size for 24 dessert portions or 48 finger portions is 6” round, 8” tall and made of six layers of sponge and five layers of our signature cream.
4. Cancellation of agreement
4.1. Once the Assignment has been paid, it can be cancelled by either party in writing or by email to sarah@avantgardecakestudio.co.uk subject to the matters set out in this clause.
4.2. If the Baker cancels the Assignment, subject to clause 3.2.1 below, the Fees paid at the time of cancellation will be repaid to the Client within 14 days of cancellation and no further sum or compensation will payable to the Client by The Baker arising from such cancellation.
4.3. If the Client cancels the Assignment at any time after entering into this contract, £100 is forfeited and will not be repayable to the Client in any circumstances.
4.4. Additionally, If the Client cancels this Assignment within 31 days or less of the Event, then the Fees in full (less any monies paid) shall be due to The Baker.
4.5. Postponement of the event may incur charges at The Baker's discretion.
5. Design, changes and alterations to the Assignment.
5.1. The Client acknowledges that The Baker owns all right, title and interest in and to the design created in the Assignment and that the Client has no right to use it outside the express terms of this agreement. The Baker grants a right to the Client to use the design, limited to all reasonable uses for the purposes of the Assignment.
5.2. So far as any goodwill is generated by the Client's use of the design, it shall accrue to the benefit of The Baker.
5.3. The Baker reserves the right to use images of The Baker’s design and goods created during the Assignments for marketing, promotional, competition and editorial purposes.
5.4. Slight design changes are at The Baker’s discretion and are not grounds for a refund. All cake designs are subject to artistic license and the Client acknowledges this in placing their order.
5.5. If, for any reason, the design has to be changed more than marginally, then The Baker will agree this in advance with the Client. This can incur additional Fees.
5.6. Flavour changes will only be accepted up to 31 days prior to the Event, and entirely at the sole discretion of The Baker and subject to availability. This may incur additional Fees.
5.7. If there are any complaints about the design or appearance of the goods, they must be expressed at point of collection or delivery.
5.8. Date changes to the Event must be submitted in writing and the new date is subject to availability. It may mean an increase in price. If the new date cannot be accommodated by The Baker, this will constitute a cancellation and clause 3 will apply.
5.9 The Baker will do their best to source flowers as requested, but the Client is aware that if they want a perfect match, they will have to provide their own flowers.
6. Allergies
6.1. The Baker will not be held responsible for any allergies or reactions caused by The Assignment. The Assignment can be made without certain allergens, however The Client accepts that The Assignment will be made in a kitchen using some or all of these ingredients, therefore, The Baker cannot guarantee the absence or traces of them.
6.2. It is The Client’s responsibility to inform consumers of any risks.
7. Damage In transit
7.1. The Baker cannot be held responsible for any damage to The Assignment that may be caused during transportation.
8. General Conditions:
8.1. Variations to the services may only be agreed in writing by both parties.
8.2. Each party will keep the confidential information of the other party and any third party confidential and secret, and only use it for the purposes of supplying the services, or making proper use of the services. Each party recognises and accepts its obligations with regard to the control and the processing of personal data under the current data protection legislation and regulations.
8.3. The Baker will use reasonable care and skill in performing the services.
8.4. The Baker's liability in respect of any loss of good will, loss of business, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, loss of use or for any other consequential, special or indirect loss or damage will be NIL.
8.5. In respect of any other direct losses (in Contract or Tort) the total liability of The Baker will not exceed the return of all payments received, and thus the limit of liability shall not exceed the value of the services provided.
8.6. Nothing in these Terms will exclude or limit liability for death or serious injury caused by The Baker's negligence.
8.7. The services may be terminated if payment of the Fees is not made in accordance with these terms, or if the Client commits a material breach of any of these terms and fails to remedy the breach within 14 days of being notified in writing, or if the Client enters into any form of insolvency arrangement. Upon termination the Client shall immediately pay any outstanding sums to The Baker.
8.8. The Baker shall not be liable for any breach of contract due to force majeure.
8.9. Nothing in these terms are intended to create a partnership or joint venture between The Baker and the Client, and no party has the right to act as agent for the other or to bind the other party in any way.
8.10. These terms and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9. Customer satisfaction:
Dissatisfaction is incredibly rare.
9.1. Complaints regarding the decoration of cakes must be pointed out upon delivery/collection to give the opportunity for correction. Once payment has been made and delivery/collection made, this confirms that decoration is as requested and no further claims can be made.
9.2. Where the complaint is in regards to the quality of the cake: then the cake, or remainder of the cake/tier, must be returned to Sarah Etrog LTD at Unit B 41 Ivanhoe Road, Finchampstead, RG40 4QQ as soon as possible after cutting and within 48 hours of collection/delivery, to ensure that The Baker is able to fairly assess the nature of the complaint. If the cake isn't returned within 48 hours, The Client agrees that The Baker is unable to fairly assess the quality of the cake and the complaint will be immediately closed.
9.3. Both Parties agree to not post any negative information about the other arising out of this Contract or Event on any online forum or website without providing advance written notice of the intended content thereof, and providing the other party with at least 2 weeks' prior opportunity to resolve any issues between the parties amicably.
9.4. The Baker can only consider complaints made by The Client who placed the original order and not any third party.
